Conceptual Sofa
Inspo & Form
The Tu'ká seamlessly combines a sofa and sideboard into a single, cohesive unit. Its name merges "Sofá" with "Tu'kã," the Tupi-Guarani word for toucan. The Tupi-Guarani languages are indigenous to South America.
The sofa's form mirrors the toucan’s body, while the sideboard extends like the bird's beak, featuring a thin, continuous edge that emphasizes grace and flow. Two bold feet evoke the toucan’s vibrant legs, and the accompanying pillows nod to the bird's distinctive white markings on its neck and tail.
